High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne

High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne(Legends) respect thread 5634034-14837313009342

Sourcebook Quotes

A former Jedi Knight, High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne followed a similar path to Darth Vader's, being seduced by the dark side and serving the Emperor hunting down and destroying other Jedi.

- Taken from Dark Side Sourcebook

He was a former Jedi Knight before becoming an Inquisitor under the Empire.

He can absorb/dissipate energy, accelerate healing, control pain, hibernation trance, reduce injury, resist stun, projective TP, among other things as shown and what he learned as a Jedi Knight of course.

Imperial Intelligence calls so rarely on the Inquisitors that Tremayne has a great deal of free time with which to search for Force Users. He conducts most of these searches in the Outer Rim Territories, where isolated villages produce enough Force adepts, village shamans, dark side devotees and alien students of the Force to keep Tremayne busy for several lifetimes.

- Taken from the Dark Side Sourcebook

He searches for Force Users, such as Force Adepts and Dark Side Devotees and others. Taking note, that regular Dark Jedi and Devotees are pretty powerful themselves as shown.

Comic Scans

Here he casually defends himself from other Inquisitors, easily dominating them.

When he moves to attack, he pretty much destroys them, even able to take away their lightsabers from their grasp, disarming them.

Galaxy Magazine Quotes

Tremayne ignited his own lightsaber and launched a blindingly swift series of feints and attacks, though his green, shimmering blade was neatly parried by Arkanian's saber as the twinkling weapons thrummed and sparkled in a dance of light. "You're quite good Master Arkanian." Tremayne remarked. "Perhaps even my better with a lightsaber. It is a pity though, that you won't join me, alien."

"My ally is The Force evil child." Arkanian shot back. "An ally that is capable of ending your rein of terror."

The battle in the courtyard had reached a stalemate as the combatants circled each other wearily.

- Taken from Galaxy Magazine 8: Dark Vendetta

Sometime later as a High Inquisitor, Tremayne stalemates Jedi Master Arkanian in lightsaber combat.

This is rather impressive when you take into account what a regular Jedi Knight is capable of, a Jedi Master even being better than a Jedi Knight, being at the top of the Jedi Order.

"...And the truth is," the courier said during the private meeting, "that Palpatine himself is interested in weeding out the corruption that has begun to rot the Jedi ranks. And you, Tremayne, have been chosen to help him. Palpatine is quite convinced of your ability, your integrity and your loyalty. You shall train under his premier agent, Darth Vader..."

...Vader, standing like an obsidian statue in the main entrance chamber to one of his many private fortresses, welcoming Tremayne like a son. "The Jedi order is fading, Tremayne," Vader had told him, "and they are reluctant to allow newcomers like yourself to reach the full extent of their potential."I will teach you, Tremayne," Vader said, gently.

"I will teach you all you will need to know to restore the Jedi Knights to their former glory. You will seek out the traitors, and together we will restore the concepts of order and justice to the galaxy..."

--Dark Vendetta

Trained by Darth Vader.

Adventure Journal Quotes

"High Inquisitor Tremayne, I have a full report in Senior Lieutenant Leeds' blundering-" His voice was arrested by the lancing pain that assailed his throat. As the invisible grip intensified, the captain fell to his knees, He winced as small bones at the base of his skull cracked audibly under the pressure. Unable to breath, he found himself sprawled on the cold glare of the waiting room floor.

Neck broken, his spinal cord pulverized at the base of his skull, Captain Jovan Vharing was dead.

- Taken from Adventure Journal 11: The Longest Fall

Here he breaks the neck/spinal cord of an Imperial officer.

Well there you have it folks! The High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne!
