Welcome dear reader, This Blog is part two of my journey into the dark words of the emperors secret writings.  books that had preserved his dark knowledge for eternity. In galactic record the emperor only managed to make up to three of these books before he was finally destroyed. In this blog I shall chronicle his first volume titled "the book of anger"

While its impossible to know the full details of this book of evil, I have taken strides to do the next best thing. A collection of knowledge that could reside within the emperors dark pages. what would no doubt amount to mere scraps of the full thing it will have to do. Palpatine gathered knowledge from all over the galaxy. pillaging a million worlds of their secrets arcane, and ripping it from jedi's mind and holocrons

the Jarvashiqiine preform blood rituals as an expression of the dark side

To begin the book of anger is about surrendering to the darkside and using it for destructive ends (ie devastating force powers)

Palpatines darkside compendium hinted of knowledge of essence transfer. using the skywalker line as his royal vessels (and servants) with him as the omnipotent ruler. (we see both of this with him trying to turn both luke and leia and possess her unborn son as his new vessel)

Naturally the book of anger's most famous ability would be the force storm. However, it would likely chronicle the weaker, stepping stone to the force storm. that being the force maelstrom

taking this to the nth degree by meditating at the vital centers can turn it into force storms. capable of folding space and swallowing anything it touches

The Emperor uses his Force storms to eliminate whole fleets of his potential rivals for galactic control once they get on the cusp of success

"we saw imperial ships from both sides of the civil war vanishing into the darkest reaches of the galactic core.

our spies and probe droids report similar sightings in other sectors. whole fleets of ships vanishing from our tracking screens

From the shamans of Tyia he likely learned the powers of vital transfer and sever force. as well as other mental abilities

Lukes Study of the darkside granted him all the powers his father, Darth Vader possessed (which we know luke's read the darkside compendium)

Luke creates an explosion of force lightning to collapse a statue (while being on the lightside)

While not confirmed its possible that the ability of tutaminis is within the Darkside compendium, as the darkside elite uses this power

The book contains the method on how to create synthetic crystals. this part of the book managed to survive all the way to krayts time, with the imperial knights using this in making their crystals

Palpatine's book of anger also detailed notes on things beyond just physical powers. such as his manipulations of the galaxy including his rise to power and how he maintains it (which while seeming like a weakness of inferiors thing was apart of the book of anger section )

Palpatine notes that by shifting the fear of the masses and hatred onto another, weaker subsect of people will allow him to not only maintain power but be reveled as a hero for such exposure of the "non conforming"

Way back in the time of the republic we see the ground work being layed for these manipulations and views. In fact, the all alien confederacy of the CIS at the end of the war paved the way for a not only human superiority view but an anti alien view by the end of the war. something we can see within dooku's own thoughts. someone who would be well versed in the grand plan (though not all of it of course)

We of course have a view of Sidous' end game for the galaxy. That of course being Byss.

Lukes notes comment on how Palpatines anti alien views has proven to be one of Palpatines most damaging legacies

Within the Book of Sith he details his plans for his own rule. The Rule of one. where he will rule as the one with all the power, and other force users will be agents of his will

Sidious has provided three steps to manipulate others and convert them to the darkside and control them.

Once again, it seems more of a weakness of inferiors part, but it was part of the book of anger section so I'll include it


the first step is temptation

the second step is Danger

and the final step is Crossing the line



-Book of Sith

These three steps Palpatine used in both tempting both Anakin and Luke, the difference being that Luke didnt cross the line beyond no return like his father did

temptation: Anakin was tempted to try and save his wife from dying, with palpatine weaving a tale of a sith power to tempt him, with luke it was to save his friends from being destroyed from the empire and Deathstar

Danger by placing himself in danger in his confrontation with Windu, the fear of losing the knowledge to save Padme pushed anakin to save him out of fear, with Luke it was vader's comments of trying to convert Leia to the Darkside that pushed Luke into anger and the darkside (albeit temporarily)

Crossing the Line Anakin crossed the line to save Padme, slaughtering his fellow Jedi and even children to do so, Luke on the other hand was given the line of killing his father and taking his place. Which Luke refused (of course would later willingly go to the darkside in DE)
