Nope we still have this:
Though neither this or the blurb bind Valkorion anyway since he's not a Sith. They only bind VitiateDarth Plagueis wrote:Plagueis understood, too, that there were no powers beyond his reach; none he couldn't master through an effort of will. If a Sith of equal power had preceded him, then that one had taken his or her secrets to the grave, or had locked them away in holocrons that had been destroyed or had yet to surface.

There's an enormous loophole in that quote, which kinda makes it useless. If anything, it's as self-defeating as his admittance of inferiority 30 years prior.

Because all you need to do is prove that ___ character had powers Plagueis didn't. And given that Plagueis only now starts to think that he may be unequalled in history, says that his prior admittance from 30 years ago has held weight until his prime. It's not good for Plagueis.

If he admitted being weaker than Sadow 30 years ago why should that still apply to him in the present. He had a large growth within that time.

It is also possible that the quote is in regards to Plagueis’s own thoughts, which would then prove to be fallible.
Still a good quote regardless.

Considering it says "understood" rather than "thought" I would think that it's factual. Unless there is an infallible OOU source that places Vitiate above Plagueis I don't see a reason not to buy it.VictreebelVictr wrote:It is also possible that the quote is in regards to Plagueis’s own thoughts, which would then prove to be fallible.

It would seem that "understand" has a couple of definitions.KingKopecz wrote:Considering it says "understood" rather than "thought" I would think that it's factual. Unless there is an infallible OOU source that places Vitiate above Plagueis I don't see a reason not to buy it.
The word "understand" could be either a display of true knowledge or a simple point of view.Oxford Dictionary wrote:verb
past tense: understood; past participle: understood
1.
perceive the intended meaning of (words, a language, or a speaker).
"he didn't understand a word I said"
2.
interpret or view (something) in a particular way.
"as the term is usually understood, legislation refers to regulations and directives"

I guess it is whatever you think is more supported.

...but Plagueis recognises this testament is based on limited knowledge, and that some Sith could be above him, but if they were he has no proof of such because the records proving such have been destroyed. In order for this quote to hold true, you need to prove Plagueis had extensive knowledge of Vitiate and other TOR Sith, but that seems doubtful given that most PT accounts of history aren't even aware The Great Galactic War happened - let alone aware of the specific details of it.

I’m curious about the last bit. Where was it said//was implied that people during PT were unaware of the events of SWTOR//Great Galactic War?
