He was on par with Yoda during AOTC, seeing as he was growing at a rate to catch up to Yoda in the first place we c an assume he is growing at a faster rate than Yoda was, Yoda experiencing growth from learning from Quigons ghost and the force priestesses is the only reason Dooku is not superior to Yoda during Revenge of the sith, ROTS Dooku contended very well with Obiwan and Anakin both of whom are far more powerful than both Maul and Vader, Anakin > Vader and Obiwan > Maul. And Dooku still managed to dispatch Kenobi and was only overwhelmed by Anakin when he tapped into the dark side, Dooku was contending well at the beginning when he was still holding back, ROTS Dooku rolls Vader and Maul, make that Vjun Dooku and I think he would win a lot easier

Vader was at the height of his power during ROTJ. A weaker version of Vader completely outclassed Dooku. It was a circumstantial feat but it doesn't matter. Vader has the same advantages over Dooku.

Pre-Suit Vader is literally confirmed to be stronger than any other version of Vader(including suit) per Lucas.
