He was stated to be a peer of Yoda, Sidious, and Vader as of RotS. They all benefit from Banite scaling, which is beyond getting pummeled by Meetra Surik, a B-Team level Jedi

Sheev doesn't have a TK feat that compares until the Lusankya which is post-ESB. Banite scaling really isn't all that big of a deal anymore and hasn't been for quite a long time now. Not to mention the actual source material itself does a very poor job of showing this supposed exponential growth.

You know Mace is apart of the Banite scaling too? Sidious is the epitome of Banite scaling, and Mace beat him in a duel, so he benefited from Banite scaling as well.

Mace Windu was using Vaapad, not his own force abilities. Not to mention Darth Nihilus is a master of Makashi. Vaapad won't affect Makashi.

Reacted to Sidious twice when caught off guard.
Completely redirected a Force blast while distracted.
Held off his lightning for a fair bit of time while exhausted.
