Qui-Gon is younger in Canon

A fact I feel has gone mostly overlooked is a small change to Qui-Gon's age in Canon. In the novel Master & Apprentice, which takes place 8 years before The Phantom Menace, Qui-Gon is only 40 years old. Making him 48 at the time of his death. This is considerably closer to Liam Neeson's actual age (46) at the time of filming. This makes Qui-Gon 7 years younger than Ben Kenobi in ANH, rather than a couple years older.
This change is honestly one of the better changes made by the new Canon, in my opinion. The only reason Qui-Gon was 60 years old in Legends was because the original script was written before Liam Neeson was cast. I honestly have no clue why Legends books decided to use the age from that original script, rather than simply use the age of the actual actor himself.

Kind of a pointless change, but otherwise interesting.
