Plagueis vs Starkiller

Standard forum rules. Interested to see what the forum consensus given that I'm doing a SS on this topic.

I'd be interested in hearing a case for Plagueis winning due to esoteric techniques such as MM but Starkiller has significantly greater feats and scaling in regards to pure raw power. For my money SK should win after a good fight.

Plagueis in a good fight.

Plagueis one-shots. Nor is SK on a significantly higher power level than P.

In their first fight Galen thrashed Vader with TK and in their second beat him while utterly exhausted. Vader doesn't even begin to compare to him.

I have to say I agree with most of this though your chain falls apart because there isn't any evidence for the most important part that being Starkiller~Vader.

Vader was holding back in the fight iirc. And Starkiller was fighting desperately to save Juno which could enhance his power.

I too am not convinced of Starkiller’s superiority over Vader.

I don't see a single reason to believe Vader was not holding back beyond speculation and conjecture when we have objective evidence stating he was going all out.

And Starkiller was fighting desperately to save Juno which could enhance his power.

To the point where it negated his prior exhaustion? Doubtful. And I'm also gonna need more evidence than "could" lol.

Hego and SK both scale vastly down from the RotS titans. Depends which you think is worse, being around equal with Vader or slightly superior to TPM Sids.

Various sources have Ben Kenobi and ANH Vader being evenly matched on the death star along with that interview that said Lucas had Ben Kenobi> ESB Vader. While Vader may have had some power growth by RotJ, it is doubtful that said power growth was significant  since only 6 months pass. Coupled with the fact that Ben Kenobi was was weaker than his RotS incarnation, its pretty clear RotS obi wan is at least >/= and likely flat out >.
