Arcann Respect Thread (2020)

Preface

This is an updated and expanded version of @DarthAnt66 respect thread from Comic Vine, so give him credit where credit is due. A few things to note before we get started:

1. The asterisks mark the things that I have personally added to the original post and the things without asterisks are what Ant wrote.
2. LS and DS represent light side and dark side story choices respectively.
3. Feats, fights, and accolades are listed in reverse chronological order, so keep that in mind while reading.
4. It is generally accepted that "the Outlander" playable class from the Knights of the Fallen Empire and Knights of the Eternal Throne expansions for Star Wars: The Old Republic is the Hero of Tython (i.e. the Jedi Knight class), who per the promotional content for the expansions is a human male.

Note: Forumotion is a really terrible hosting service and so this thread is ridiculously laggy which can also lead to certain images not loading. It's not just your computer.

Force Accolades

Satele Shan and Darth Marr believed that much of Arcann's power was due to his approach at handling, mastering, and using the Force. They believed that, because of this, no Jedi or Sith could defeat him, and rather the Outlander would have to expand his horizon's to truly topple the Eternal Throne.

The Outlander once admitted that Arcann was almost invincible compared to him.

Senya was far weaker than Arcann, Vaylin, and Thexan combined, even when they were children.

Lana Beniko claimed Arcann most likely only ever feared to confront his father, Emperor Valkorion. Senya also believed that Arcann may humble the Outlander.

Emperor Valkorion has constantly praised Arcann's power. The authenticity of these statements, however, is in question, since they may have been said to trick the Outlander into becoming his pawn.

The Outlander sensed and praised Arcann's strong connection to the Force.

Combat Abilities

*Arcann telepathically projected himself into the Outlander's mind with the assistance of Valkorion's Holocron, where he helped defeat Valkorion in a battle of wills alongside the Outlander, Senya, and Vaylin, finally ending The Immortal Emperor's reign of terror.

*Arcann assisted the Outlander along with Senya against Vaylin and her Horizon Guard's after the removal of her conditioning, with the team emerging victorious. It can be seen in the Outlander's memories that Arcann took on two Horizon Guard during the fight, Force Pushing one down.

*Arcann engaged in a prolonged duel with Vaylin who was capable of dominating a KotET:III Outlander. Arcann can be seen hurling and deflecting Force Blasts as well as exchanging lightsaber blows with Vaylin over the course of the fight. The fight ends with Vaylin staggering backward and the arrival of the Outlander, which causes her to flee. In her escape, Vaylin throws a speeder at Arcann which briefly incapacitates him without injury.

In the third confrontation between Arcann and the Outlander, the Commander showcased a slight edge over his adversary. Following his last defeat, the Outlander had grown in power considerably, now being imbued with a portion of Emperor Valkorion's power. The Outlander also wielded a lightsaber that contained the joint ideals of Darth Marr and Satele Shan. The fight began with Arcann forcing the Outlander on his knees with telekinesis, but the Commander used his newfound power to fend off Arcann's lightsaber strikes with his bare hands. A duel ensured and they fought as relative equals, but the capital ship they fought on began to suffer heavy bombardment. With Arcann being thrown off balance by the swaying ship, the Commander seized the advantage, injured Arcann, and considered his next move.

In the situation where the Outlander decided to kill his opponent, Arcann hurled broken machinery at the Commander. The Outlander managed to pull through it and then proceeded to best Arcann in a quick and brutal exchange of lightsaber combat. If the Outlander extended his hand and offered surrender, Arcann would attack the Commander, resulting in a fierce duel that also ended in Arcann's defeat.

In the second confrontation between Arcann and the Outlander, Arcann showcased his complete superiority over his adversary. The fight began with Arcann dominating the Outlander with telekinesis, but a duel ensured and they fought as relative equals. Arcann managed to get the upper hand by a swift push with the Force, and then summoned his power to destroy his bested foe. The assassin droid HK-55, the Commander's companion, jumped in front of the blast, sacrificing his life in the process. Visibly enraged, the Commander resumed the fight, but Emperor Valkorion appeared before the Outlander and claimed that he was outmatched, and thus must use the entity's power if he wished to defeat Arcann.

In the situation where the Outlander accepts the offer of power, the weakened Emperor Valkorion temporarily took control over his body and overpowered Arcann after a fierce standoff. If the Commander refused, Arcann then immediately impaled him with his lightsaber and left him for dead. Either way, the injuries sustained in the battle left the Outlander unconscious for two days before finally recovering.

In the first confrontation between Arcann and the Outlander, Arcann showcased a slight edge over his adversary. The fight began with Arcann dominating the Outlander with telekinesis, but a duel ensured and they fought as relative equals. The fight may have continued if not for a massive pillar collapsing on Arcann due to a nearby explosion. Arcann was believed killed, but managed to pull himself from the rubble.

Arcann defeated the powerful Heskal and four Force-sensitive Scions. Heskal was capable of easily dismissing Senya and challenged the Outlander to a difficult battle.

Arcann slew his twin brother Thexan in a fit of rage after a short duel in an act that was considered "murder" by many, including his sister Vaylin and mother Senya. Nevertheless, Emperor Valkorion was seemingly impressed by Arcann's actions, extending his hand after the fight.

Arcann dominated and vanquished Darth Atroxa, the most powerful Sith on Korriban, and four or more of her Sith Warriors. This was after him and his forces successfully defeated armies of other Sith.

Arcann and his twin brother Thexan led Zakuul forces to countless victories over Republic and Imperial border worlds. Dozens to hundreds of planets were captured and many Sith and Jedi were slain.

Arcann and his twin brother Thexan had a childhood dedicated to war and pain. They fought the likes of Zakuul Knights, the Eternal Empire's equivalent to Sith Lords or Jedi Knights, and bested them.

Telekinesis (Alter)

*(KotET:IX – LS) Arcann destroys two Skytroopers with a telekinetic blast. This may also be a showing of pyrokinesis.

*(KotET:VI – DS) Upon Arcann's death, he releases a Dark side burst and has his spirit absorbed by the Outlander which is powerful enough to render them unconscious for 30-40 seconds.

*(KotET:I – DS) Arcann, while immensely injured, brings down a large pillar in a fit of rage at his mother's death.

*(KotET:I – DS) Arcann, in a near-death state, releases a Force Wave that incapacitates Lana, the Outlander, Senya, Theron, and four Voss Mystics.

(KotFE:XVI) Arcann, while immensely injured, pushed back Vaylin.

---

*(KotFE:XVI) Arcann threw large pieces of metal at the Outlander even after enduring multiple lightsaber strikes to the body.

---

(KotFE:XVI) Arcann brought an empowered Outlander to his knees.

---

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann telekinetically dominated the Outlander.

---

(KotFE:VIII – LS) Arcann telekinetically pulled and stabbed the Outlander.

---

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann frequently released bursts of energy that threw back the Outlander.

---

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann plastered the Outlander against a wall.

---

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann casually disarmed the Outlander with the Force.

---

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann telekinetically dominated the powerful Scion Heskal.

---

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann is able to channel Force energy through the ground against his foe.

---

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann temporarily incapacitated HK-55 through the power of the Force.

Dark Blast (Alter)

(KotET:VI) Arcann used Dark Blast in his duel against Vaylin.

Force Barrier (Alter)

The content in the next section reflects a Force Barrier also known as Force Protection Bubble.

*(KotFE:XVI) Arcann was capable of summoning a Force barrier that the Outlander could not penetrate with their own power.

(KotFE:VIII – DS) Arcann managed to temporarily defend himself from the lightning of the weakened Emperor Valkorion. The lightning proved so powerful that its residue disabled dozens of nearby ships as well as killing "hundreds".

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann's Force defenses were virtually impenetrable to the Outlander.

---

(KotFE:I – DS) Arcann defended himself from a storm of vast Force energy that completely incapacitated the Outlander - bringing him to his knees before throwing him across the throne room unconscious (possibly due to the Outlander absorbing Valkorion's spirit).

Force Lightning (Alter)

*(KotET:IX – LS) Arcann destroyed Skytroopers with bursts of lightning. This may also be a display of Pyrokinesis.

*(KotET:VI – DS) Arcann unleashed a burst of lightning upon his death. This may also be a display of Pyrokinesis.

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann unleashed a burst of lightning that completely destroyed HK-55. It can be assumed that such a blast would have killed the Outlander as well. This may also be a display of Pyrokinesis.

---

(KotFE:XVI) Arcann is capable of creating and throwing Force Manifestations, balls of pure Force power, and use them to course energy into his opponents. This is also a display of Sith Sorcery.

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann can unleash powerful blasts of Force Lightning or call them down from above.

Force Concealment (Control)

The content in the next section reflects the power(s) of Force Concealment, also known as Force Cloak, Force Stealth, Buried Presence, Force Camouflage, Force Fade, and Force Haze.

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann hid his presence from the Outlander despite being only meters away.

Force Jump (Control)

*(KotET:VIII – LS) Arcann jumps from a tall scaffolding and kills several Skytroopers and a Zakuulan Knight.

*(KotET:VI – LS) Arcann leaped over Theron and the Outlander and kills a Horizon Guard with one strike.

---

(KotFE:S) Arcann leaped a great distance when he went to attack Emperor Valkorion.

Telepathy (Sense)

*(KotET:IX – LS) Arcann with the assistance of Valkorion's Holocron is able to telepathically project himself into the Outlander's mind, where he helps defeat Valkorion in a battle of wills.

Pain Resistance/Willpower

*(KotET:VIII) Arcann survives Vaylin's Force Wave without injury as opposed to Senya who can be seen clutching her side in pain.

*(KotET:I) Arcann, while immensely injured, tanks a telekinetic attack from the Outlander.

---

(KotFE:XVI) Arcann survived machinery on his command deck falling on him after suffering many lightsaber wounds. And yet without healing, he still stand and use the Force shortly thereafter.

(KotFE:XVI) Arcann can survive multiple lightsaber wounds, yet still stand.

---

(KotFE:XVI) Arcann can survive point-blank shots from a blaster, yet still stand.

---

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann survived a fall presumably thousands of feet down to the surface.

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann survived a massive pillar falling and crushing on him with no visible injuries. The Outlander believed Arcann to be dead, not knowing he could survive such force.

*(KotFE:I – LS) Arcann survived an explosion of lightning from Valkorion similar to the one which one-shotted Darth Marr without even raising a barrier.

---

(KotFE:S) Arcann lost his arm and severely burned the side of his face after a massive explosion on the battlefield. After receiving harsh medical attention, Arcann coped with the pain with Force Rage.

Physical Attributes

(KotFE:S) Arcann completely overpowered five Sith Lords through sheer strength.

(KotFE:VIII) Arcann demonstrated a physical edge over the Outlander.

...Most of the feats and details in our threads are identical. The only differences are my use of scaling whereas Praxis found more feats I didn't think of or didn't think were especially applicable (e.g. his death explosion). Also, since it was my first RT the formatting is shite.
