Darth Maul versus Anakin Skywalker

It's unclear where anakin is relative to kenobi at this point.

Anakin has contended well enough with Dooku on a few occasions at this point. (Held his own on Tatooine in the movie, lost in their first battle on Naboo, drove him back in their second battle in Naboo). Kenobi at this point has had a similar level of success against Grievous by this point, alternating between driving Grievous off or being forced to retreat. Considering Dooku>Ventress>Grievous, I'd say Anakin is pretty firmly above Kenobi by S5. All that said, I can still definitely see an argument for Maul here, and it won't be a stomp in either direction.

Anakin didn't "drive dooku back", dooku was intentionally backpeddling as he kidnapped the chancellor to escort him to his ship. Anakin, tapping into the darkside against an opponent restricting himself to defense,was able to get a momentary advantage vs dooku who promptly broke out of anakin's chokehold kicked him and then became the socket for anakin's fork. Which is why when we see anakin AND kenobi fight an unencumbered dooku in season 6. both are outclassed induvidually:

It's quite obvious when dooku goes on the offensive, anakin isn't yet ready to handle him. Anakin is thrown back in bladelocks, repeatedly has his guard physically broken despite the assistance of a teammate, and is forced into a fast retreat when dooku has a few seconds to focus on him. On top of all that he  would have lost the fight here if not for kenobi's presence:

Also odd to use ventress>grevious when kenobi has clowned ventress repeatedly

Skywalker could win or lose depending on his emotional state. I'll back him for a majority though.

Anakin, close fight. We have seen him hold his own and even overwhelm Dooku who is at least moderately above Maul, so I guess he wins
