Asajj Ventress vs Maul: who was the more naturally gifted?

In terms of base Force potential, who has the larger space for growth?

Ventress is a bootleg Maul

Nah lol Ventress is entirely different to Maul

-both dathomirian
-both were secret apprentices to a sith lord
-Both used two lightsaber blades
-both got embarassed by their former masters in combat

I'd bet on Maul having more potential. Sidious saw the potential in Maul to become a full fledged sith lord.

A younger Ventress with scraps of knowledge and some sparring lessons is slapping down a superior Kenobi to the one that can push Maul, whose training was far more strenuous, over a greater time period, and with access to primo Banite teachings.  

Ventress with a year or two of training is already a threat to the likes of Mace and Dooku, add on her ‘power threatens Sidious himself’ quotes as well as her being the second greatest threat to the Jedi during the war, and it’s a done deal.

The argument that Darth Sidious saw Maul as a worthy Apprentice, but not Ventress, isn’t valid either. Sidious viewed Ventress as ‘too good’ of a candidate as per ‘What is a Sith Warrior?’ so her not being chosen as his main disciple wasn’t because her power and skill was inadequate, but because it was too good. This point just makes Ventress look vastly superior.

BUT MAUL THOUGHT ABOUT DESTROYING BARRACKS AT 15

So Ventress is too good of a candidate to be Sheev's apprentice but the literal chosen one isn't?   

Ventress is hot, her curves would arouse Maul, long enough for her to put her blade through his heart

Ventress appears to be more skilled but Maul is stronger. Also Ventress roasts better than Maul.

If you're talking about midichlorian counts, I'm not convinced either has a significant edge.
