The simple answer is I just can't be sure. TPM Maul is obviously more hyped, has better raw showings of speed and strength and material for RTs, but Ventress has better more proven showings against named opponents. The CW era has more to work with than the relatively unknown TPM era, Maul's only been tested against Jinn and TPM Kenobi and they get all their hype from their fights with him, whereas Ventress has fought with every major player of the CW era and has a decent track record.
