The Force Unleashed was a game released by Lucasfilm studios in September 2008 developed by Havok studios for various consoles with many alternative versions such as the WII and PS2 versions differing from the Xbox one. They introduced an interesting series of concepts and characters many of which were recycled (whether conscious or not) later down the line. This Blog is to focus on the more lesser characters we encounter in the game, fleshing out their skills and abilities to paint a greater picture

GENERAL RAHM KOTA

SKILL

Rahm Kota can move with what was described as astonishing speeds and provide a diverse set of attacks



Rahm Kota is noted to be proficient in Juyo



In One on One combat Kota adopts a defensive style of fighting so he can launch a devastating counter-attack



is described as a tough jedi in the makes of TFU



In the TFU Comic adaption Vader comments how he didnt expect Galen to survive his fight with Kota (in other versions this dialogue is saved for after Kazdan)




FORCE POWER

Rahm Kota uses the force to redirect Galens force lightning back at him. an act he did with a laugh indicating it was a rather casual effort for him, despite the results



an action Kota would later repeat with a different Force based attack with the same result



Kota when going on the offensive will use the force to throw objects and push his enemies away



Defensively Kota will use the force to protect himself, usually making a kind of force bubble as seen in the game

Rohm Kota uses the force to rip off the control center of the Tie fighter construction site

PROXY can take on the appearance of jedi and sith to challenge Galen when they spar



PROXY can mimic said jedi and siths fighting styles



PROXY is outfitted with advanced technology to simulate force powers



While not a skill, he was designed to take sabers through him




KNOWN MODULES

PROXY shows he can fluctuate between his various different modules when Galen fights him. show casing previous enemies in the game including past bosses

Proxy notes his most dangerous Module is Kenobi in the TFU comic



PROXY has also secretly held the module for Darth Maul. waiting to use it against Galen

Sam Witwer (Voice of Starkiller) and David Collins (Voice of PROXY) discussed on how Vader may have been the one to build PROXY and there was to be an Anakin Module at some point during development (2:15:17)



later stated to be built by vader in fact file

The Shadow Guards are considered ruthless force wielding warriors



During their first fight Galen gets several injuries from a single shadow guard




only beating the shadow guard by using carbonite liquid to freeze him




FORCE POWER

The Shadow Guards are said to possess basic force powers and sith arts, leaving many to speculate they were once jedi





The Shadow guards have been shown to use Force lightning

SKILL

Developers felt she posed a unique combat challenge and liked her fighting style



Is called an exotic and deadly jedi



is noted to be highly skilled with her tonfas



is a skilled combatant thats quick and agile and mastered a unique fighting style



she was tutored by a jedi warrior



maris is said to be a match for the player (Galen) but you are still a little better (credit to beast)




FORCE POWER

Maris upon falling to the darkside corrupts many Felucian shamans and rancors to do her bidding



The Felucian shamans being among the most talented groups of natural force users in the galaxy. With the shamans having more power then skill then the normal felucian





Maris can bend the force to become invisible

Maris is said to be able to defeat Ventress



Reason why I felt compelled to put it under Force power rather then skill is

A) wording of the quote, ventress taking an advantage gives the idea that ventress is a superior duelist and Maris being able to hold out and take a win will likely come from a Force advantage then a skill one.

B) The TFU battle mode for the Wii has Both Maris and Ventress as playable characters and Maris boasts a superior Force edge where Ventress has a better saber edge




C) Miniatures has Maris with a better force renewal then Ventress with comparable damage and saber skills




D) Saga stats has maris edging in UTF and slightly weaker in saber damage




for these reasons I feel i can conclude this is a safe enough reason to assume this scan belongs in FORCE POWER

KAZDAN PARATUS

SKILL

is an accomplished swordsman despite not liking fights



Kazdan is noted as being a Shien user



Upon his exile his insanity made him an even more dangerous foe



In his exile he has honed his skills by training with junk padawans and exploring the library



His lightsaber skills are noted to be extremely dangerous



Kazdan upon inventing his robotic limbs in combination with his saber pike allowed him to solo legions of separatist droids



Kazdan is more difficult then Rahm Kota with Vader not expecting Galen to survive his fight with Kazdan




FORCE POWER

Kazdan is said to be more Powerful then pre prime Galen by Vader (18:51)



which is reiterated in the novel



said to be proficient with for force and quick with it



Kazdans machinery skill and proficiency with the force made him easily pass the trials



Kazdan can use the force to create force imbued junk golems






said Golems are said to have incredible power




the animated Golems are resistant to certain force powers like pushes but weak to force lightning



his junk titan can use the force to repel attacks



his golems can relay information back to Kazdan, serving as his eyes and ears



Kazdan made a flying golem specifically designed to combat Vader



despite their noted weakness to force lightning they are still noted to well suited for fighting sith



Kazdan paratus has made an army of these Junk golems of various sizes and strength numbering into the thousands

Darth Phobos is noted as an ancient sith lord



Is said to be skilled with a lightsaber



Her attacks are said to be strong



she will link her force attacks with her saber attacks to make vicious combos that are noted to easily cut down SKs HP

is noted to have strong mental powers



is skilled in the ways of the force and can use the force to look like someone else

Darth Desolous lead a campaign that lead to the death of 2000 jedi
