Regarding SW Official Artwork...is that Canon or not? Empty Regarding SW Official Artwork...is that Canon or not?

A bit of an inquiry as I'm not too sure on this. But would official artwork done by SW artists be considered Canon? I don't think I've ever seen anything about a yes or no on that, so I'm just wondering.
