No matter what kind of willpower feats any of them have if someone as pure and strong minded as gandalf or Frodo are corrupted by the ring you bet your ass all of these people become ringwraiths and saurons new bitches

All characters turn near immideatedly and get drawn to Sauron by the Ring, getting turned there and giving him back his full power.
Maybe Kenobi sees the danger and tries to give it to someone stronger but he wouldn't last long

Star Wars characters have resisted way more intensive hax than the One Ring.

1). TFU II Darth Vader.
2). RotS Count Dooku.
3). RotJ Darth Sidious.
4). SoD Darth Maul.
5). AotC Anakin Skywalker.
All of these fail to resist. They're either too power hungry, arrogant or greedy to resist.
6). EoRotS Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Resists. This Kenobi had already lost the woman he'd loved, his friends, his colleagues, kids he cared about, his fellow Council members, and had to fight someone he loved like a brother while conquering his own inner demons. He resists.
7). Galen Marek.
I'd say he'd resist, but it depends what stage he's at. Pre-TFU 2 Galen falls, TFU 2 SK probably just about resists.
8). RotS Mace Windu.
Doesn't fall. Mace's willpower in regards to his commitment to principles (i.e. his service to the light side) is arguably greater than anyone here, save for maybe Kenobi.
9). Snoke.
Falls faster than a Sequel Trilogy character arc.
10). Table Darth Vader.
Falls.
Overall, only 2, maybe 3 will resist.

I feel like people are applying a no-limits fallacy to the One Ring, that literally any character with selfish motives is going to be influenced even if they're orders of magnitude more powerful and willful than any character in LOTR who fell victim to the Ring.

No, it's the fact that Gandalf himself (angel of good) considered it's corruption beyond what he could handle. I'm unconvinced people who aren't dieties like the Maiar would be able to do any better
