Characters with the Highest Force Potential Empty Re: Characters with the Highest Force Potential

1. Anakin - For obvious reasons.
2. Luke - Again, obvious reasons.
3. Sidious - See above.
4. Valkorion - His isn't natural potential per say so it's kind of cheating to put him here, but his power after consuming Nathema and Ziost is enough to cement him here.
5. Outlander - Grew from being fodder when facing Arcann to being unchained Vaylin level+ by the end of KOTET and surpassing that by Onslaught. Also, Valkorion seemed to believe that in time he could become his equal (as in strong enough to contain his full power), whether this is from Valkorion strengthening him (still unsure about this) or his own natural potential.
5. Valkorion - His isn't natural potential per say so it's kind of cheating to put him here, but his power after consuming Nathema and Ziost is enough to cement him here.
6. Mace Windu - In the space of a few months, Mace grew from a top tier 8 to a solid tier 9, capable of going toe to toe with ROTS Sheev. I believe that he may have grown even stronger given more time and experience.
7. Yoda - Pretty obvious, isn't it? Only reason he's below Mace is because by all indications he'd peaked by AOTC/ROTS, whereas Mace may have continued to grow. However, the two are interchangeable.
8. Vaylin - Her power was enough to make pre-Ziost Vitiate believe she'd one day become his equal (which she probably achieved when her powers were unlocked). However, I've left her below Yoda and Mace because it's quite hard to judge.
9. Revan - SoR (arguably his full potential) proved how powerful he was.
10. Dooku - Grew "infinitely" upon turning to the dark side, however he seemed to have peaked by ROTS.

Some of these I'm not sure about.

Now, speculation aside and just based on what we know:

1. Anakin.
2. Luke.
3. Sidious.
4. Valkorion.
5. Outlander.
6. Vaylin.
7. Yoda.
8. Mace Windu.
9. Revan.
10. Dooku.

Nah, that quote was talking about status and wisdom/experience/knowledge within the Order, not power.

Dooku was a unique case in the history of the Jedi Order. Universally respected, he would have been a Master on a par with Yoda had he not abandoned the Order to join its greatest enemies.

Exar Kun within four years became > Vitiate who'd had a millennia of power growth after the Nathema ritual. He was > prime Freedon Nadd on the day he turned.

He was the prophesied saviour of the Sith as ordained by Marka Ragnos.

The guy became a living dark side nexus within four years as a Sith. Being a living dark side nexus, was what made Luke think DE Sheev was unstoppable thus giving up on the idea he could win.

His potential and exponential growth in power was insane.

Source? Because if there is one, I highly doubt it's including Valkorion.

Never mind, Vitiate (not even Valkorion) is confirmed to be stronger.

"Revan travels to a very iconic Yavin IV to go to battle and release the actual Emperor, one we thought who was defeated not long ago. The player is pulled into this struggle of two of the most powerful Force users, like ever, in the history of the Old Republic, if not beyond - Revan and the Emperor."
―Michael Backus (Star Wars: The Old Republic Head Writer)

"Their deaths also made him become stronger than any sith who had come before" -Revan Novel

"The Sith Emperor has mastered the dark side's power to become the most dominating Force-user the galaxy has ever seen."
From (Star Wars: The Old Republic: Codex Entry titled "The Emperor's Fallen Jedi (Knight).")

The Sith Emperor, history's most powerful dark side master, performed a ritual of incredible scope to consume the life energy of every being on his homeworld.

Two of the most powerful Force users ever, not the most powerful Force users ever.

The Revan novel is a third-person limited perspective book, making it privy to subjective character POV.

The SWTOR:E is in-universe, worse yet it is set 350 years after the Exar Kun war.

The codex entries are to a degree also in-universe and are subject to the date in-universe too.

Exar Kun's quotes are neither of those things. This quote is from the third-person omniescent narrator of the comic:

Which would at the very least put them in Exar's range, if he were stronger in the first place (which he's not).

The Revan novel is a third-person limited perspective book, making it privy to subjective character POV.

It's also supported by a myriad of other quotes.

The SWTOR:E is in-universe, worse yet it is set 350 years after the Exar Kun war.

The codex entries are to a degree also in-universe and are subject to the date in-universe too.

And still take into account past Sith and Force users, so no real problem with them here. They are both documented after Exar Kun's death.

Exar Kun's quotes are neither of those things. This quote is from the third-person omniescent narrator of the comic:
What comic is that from?

1.Being in his range, is irrelevant.

2.Such as?

3.They're all written by in-universe historians who have no authority here compared to an OOU Narrator.

4.Tales of the Jedi Omnibus from 2008.

1.Being in his range, is irrelevant.

My point is to show that if a heavily weakened, near-death Vitiate and SoR Revan are in Exar Kun's range, novel Vitiate or SWTOR Vitiate > Exar considering their laughable superiority to their Yavin 4 iteration.

2.Such as?

The Sith Emperor is the most powerful Force-user who has ever existed. Unless this implacable enemy can be defeated, the Jedi Order is doomed.

Enigmatic and supremely powerful, the Emperor directs his domain from the shadows and manipulates the galaxy to carry out his will.

1. But Exar Kun can still be more powerful than them regardless. You're speculating massively.

3.

SWTOR: Encyclopedia wrote:This encyclopedia expands on the already massive galaxy that is Star Wars: The Old Republic. Written entirely in-universe, this book uncovers secrets only hinted at in the game, divulges never-before-revealed traits and histories of major characters, and details the high-flying adventures and drastic stories that play out during the conflict between the Republic and Empire.

That's why he died and was forgotten about until a couple thousand years later, then tries to come back and is swiftly put back in his place.

1. Sure. Highly unlikely to be, though.

2. It's a combination of IU and OOU sources, hence "this book uncovers secrets only hinted at in the game".

4. Like you said, natural potential doesn't equal artificial powering. So Tenebrae's potential is way lower than his aquired potential because of a ritual he notably took weeks to do.

6. Mace's growth was notably attributed to his mastery of the Vaapad form, not power in the force. If Mace truly grown (power-wise), then why didn't he grow that much since his padawan stages?
