There is one calling Sidious the most powerful Sith in modern times from the old databank. It extends to the Legacy era and encompasses Darth Krayt, Darish Vol, etc.

Also one from The Official Starships & Vehicles Collection saying he's the most powerful Sith Lord for millennia, although that could just as feasibly mean the past as the future. The first quote is much more concrete.
