I feel this is a close fight but I'd honestly side with Krayt. I still firmly hold that the implication of the fight in Apocalypse is that Krayt had parity with Luke and was a threat to Abeloth. I feel it's suggested in the text that Krayt's draining of Abeloth significantly effected her power as indicated by the fights with her avatars shifting in favor of the characters fighting them ( Ben and Vestara and Saba Sebatyne ). And Krayt had hundreds of years after this to gain knowledge and grow his power. While midichlorian manipulation is a wild card that could greatly aid Plagueis, I don't see Plagueis managing to win out purely on the basis of his own power.

Arguments for either?

Plagueis scales ridiculously beyond Darth Bane who has an impressive catalog of feats to draw upon. Krayt on the other hand while impressive doesn't really have scaling to compare imo.

His parity with Luke is more than enough lol.

Not sure I agree that Krayt is ~ Luke tbh.

There's not really a case to be made in favour of Krayt regarding parity with Luke. The Abeloth fight is hardly what I'd define as irrefutable proof. There's a multitude of things we can infer from it, and not all of those things involve Krayt and Luke being comparable in power.

@SithArchaeologist Would you mind articulating why you think the Abeloth fight demonstrates parity between Skywalker and Krayt?

It's very simple. Krayt and Luke performed similarly in the battle. They both did similar amounts of damage and ended the fight with similar levels of injury. One could even make the argument that Krayt had a larger overall impact on the fight through his drain, which affected all of the Abeloth avatars, allowing each to be defeated.

Nearly every word written in that sentence was wrong. I'll articulate why after I finish my post to you (Which might be done sooner than expected, I'm nearly done mulling over my personal crisis and finishing my school essay).
