Vader's place as a combatant

Where would you rank him? I know he’s held really low here but I genuinely wonder.

As a combatant against waves of fodder jedi, Rebel troops, he is quite high given his endurance and equipment.
in 1v1 combat, I put him solidly below Darth Tyranus. Perhaps TPM Maul level or RotS Jedi like Plo Koon, Kolar, etc.

About the Same level as ROTS Darth Tyranus
He’s 80% of ROTJ Palpatine so he’s solidly far above TPM Maul

Going to judge him relative to the Prequel Trilogy, as that's the era with the most obvious/established hierarchy.
In terms of combat speed, Lightsaber skill, and Force Power, he's below Qui-Gon Jinn - per Lucas and numerous C-Canon sources. However, a case can be made that he compensates in other areas - e.g. Force Mastery, durability, strength, and extreme willpower - and we even see this in Resurrection where he beats TPM Darth Maul (someone who's above Jinn) after a gruelling fight. As of ROTJ, I'd place him above TPM Maul as an overall combatant, but below TCW Maul. I know that's a pretty broad range, but we really don't have a way to gauge where exactly he precisely slots in.

I've held him in a limbo for a long time but after not seeing a convincing argument from the Vader brigade against Lucas's tyranny, I've lowered him below the TPM folks. Suit Vader, that is; pre-suit Vader is with the ROTS titans.
