Savage fought well against the more later Anakin and Obi-Wan and has many impressive feats in duels against other characters. I do not think that AotC Anakin will be able to cope with him.

Savage wrecks unless Anakin has one of his "flashes of brilliance." Even then, Savage might just straight up overpower him.

If Anakin experiences a flash of brilliance, even in the form of his performance against Dooku, that'll probably stress Savage so much that he'll descend into a bezerker rage.

There's a good chance they fight evenly long enough for the two of them to try and go into supa mode. At that point it's just a question of who does it first.

I'm thinking Savage has this.
