Yoda's already matched a more powerful Sith in power and Nihilus is useless in sabers. It's Yoda's game to lose.

Nihilus' feats are demonstratably greater than Sheev's at that point. Nihilus wins.

Yoda. I think you can make a case for Nihilus being more powerful, but I don't think he's anywhere near as skilled at utilising that power in combat.

Yoda, as there seems to be compelling evidence that Nihilus' drain isn't necessarily (1) combatively applicable and (2) indicative of his conventional power level.

Yoda = RotS Sidious > TPM Sidious > Nihilus in power per SIdious supremacy quotes.

So Nihilus's only option is to have some haxx technique that can overcome a disparity in Force power in the time it takes Yoda to close the distance and cut him to pieces. He could try to use his drain, but based on what can he pull that off against a Force user of Yoda's caliber in combat? It seems like the drain technique is often used in tandem with some other technique to destroy defenses, like Traya with the Jedi or (in the deleted scene) Nihilus with Sion.

Supremacy quotes are nebulous. Sheev has no feats comparable to Nihilus until after ESB.

nihilus is an overrated one trick pony .
there is no way to prove his drain is applicable in combat , let alone against someone as fast , strong and skilled as yoda
yoda could probably blitz him and cut him to pieces before nihilus even knows what happened .
