The quote itself does not require countering and can be dismissed outright as you have yet to establish 

1. Why being relative to Kyp in bladework is impressive.

2. Why being near Viun is impressive 

3. How any of this relates to or outweighs Marr’s accolades and feats referenced above.

The quote is shaky, and even if it’s true in the way you want it to be, Kyp and Gaalan aren’t much to look at. Kyle is lucky to be beating Ki-Adi Mundi.
