This is a starfighter battle, which pilot wins?

- Anakin has his Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor (Battle of Coruscant)

- Vader has his TIE Advanced (Battle of Yavin)

- Assistance from droids (like R2-D2) is forbidden

Round 1 ) Legends versions of the characters

Round 2 ) Canon versions of the characters

I personally think RotJ Vader would stomp RotS Anakin but that's not the case. This is a starfighter battle.

i did . read my answer again .
i implied RoTS anakin is superior as a pilot as well as a fighter .

Vader. As far as I’m aware his flying abilities weren’t really affected and his ship is far more advanced.

Far more advanced ship, decades more experience as a pilot, no noted loss of piloting skill after being put in the suit. RotJ Vader easily takes this in both Legends and Canon. Canon, in particular, has a ton of amazing piloting feats for Vader, and Anakin regularly crashes nearly every ship he flies in The Clone Wars.
