I believe Starkiller would take this in a good fight unless somebody wants to make the argument that Plagueis could win on the back of his MM abilities.

What I actually said was that Sidious was incapable of immediately overwhelming Starkiller with attacks capable of piercing his own defenses. As a result, I believe such feats allow Starkiller to defeat Plagueis in a good fight. Is there something you find disagreeable about this statement?

Fair enough. You seem to have a larger gap between Sidious and Plagueis than I do. That or you have Galen and Sidious closer than me. : )

Plagueis far superior mastery and knowledge of the Force, is enough to overcome 'Killers bombastic capabilities.
Simply put -- Plagueis has an answer for everything Galen can throw at him -- the same can't be said vise-versa, however.

What makes you think Plagueis's knowledge and mastery can compensate for the power disparity? And what do you think Plagueis has that Galen doesn't have an answer for?

I wouldn't say that. At least I would say it like that. They are on the same tier, but It's definitely a tpm Maul vs Dooku situation for the gap
