Koon actually managed to outmaneuver and injure Savage and contend with his strength. That's more than I can say for Adi who clearly couldn't contend with him head-to-head or compensate with her superior agility and skill. May I add that both are form V users, thus nullifying any claim that Koon had a style advantage Adi lacked.

Ki-Adi's clash with Ventress is too quick and indecisive to really say he was equal or better. It proves he isn't a pushover but it's not enough to work with.

As for Plo, the broken arm wouldn't have crippled his fighting style no as he does fight one-handed in general, but it would have made his left-flank harder to defend;can't transition his blade to his opposite hand in a quick movement; instead he'd have to make a full turn which takes more time, or switch to a two-handed grip; in TCW he does use a two-handed grip when appropriate, and it certainly would have been helpful when Ventress pinned him to the wall, and overall reduce his options. Having more options is useful in a duel. The more options you have the harder it is for your enemies to anticipate your moves with the Force:

So yeah while Ki Adi's brief performance with Ventress brings him up some and gives him some decent standing, Plo's own showing blows his out of the water.

Are we ignoring Mundi's fight with GG on Hypori while exhausted? And what about Gallia being superior to Season 3 GG?

How is Mundi's performance with Grievous impressive relative to Koon's feat? Sure he does better than the other Jedi but he was still losing quite convincingly even when he had the aid of the Jedi; there's even a point where all five attacks Grievous on all flanks but Grievous easily repels the assault.

As for Gallia, sure it's impressive, her kicking TCW Grievous, but again it doesn't change the fact that she did worse than Koon against the same opponent with the same form as Koon. After a direct comparison, I really don't see any reason to bring it up.

Gallia had ‘the upper hand’ and sent Grievous ‘running away with her lightsaber skill.’ Koon and Mundi got low-diffed by the antags.

Mundi simply surviving while exhausted can’t compare to - likely vast - superiority over the same opponent. We know that Grievous defeated all Jedi on Hypori, including Mundi, with ‘ease’ according to multiple sources, so whatever occurred off-screen couldn’t have been much more than Ki-Adi getting slapped around. Speaks volumes to his damage soak perhaps, but little else.

Driving early Ventress back with the aid of gunship fire isn’t impressive either.

Where does Hypori place in the timeline relative to Season 3?

Koon is the best one with the most force skills. But he has physical disadvantages.. age, fragile bones, weaker constitution to humans and his mask.. it cripples his potential.
Adi second- she is arguably the most physically advantageous here being in her prime, able to meet savage and grievous- physical juggernauts, head to head.. she fought grievous, pushed him back and only lost the second time due to narrow hallway, trying to protect her troops, droids firing all around her and time constraints with her ship about to blow up. At that duel she was hoping to blow herself up and take gg with her. The same episode we see that she is free from gg back in possession of her weapon upon plo koon boarding his ship- indicating at the very least she had a third duel with gg where he fled. So gallia is roughly equal to gg.
Gallia mastered djem so and ataru.. so its a different form blend to plo, who uses a very grounded, slow blend of shien and djem so. He still lost to savage- he didn’t injure him in any way... you say he got past savage’s guard well so did adi- the first one out of her and obi wan vs maul and savage to do so.. with a kick that later worked when kenobi kept kicking the same spot. The only reason gallia was murdered was a tk blast that threw her into durasteel ship debris stunning her. Anakin, kenobi, dooku and ventress have also been prone to such attacks but had gallia been thrown anywhere softer or in a more open area, she would’ve recovered better and kept frustrating savage into further mistakes and overextensions.
Mundi is a tough one, but his abilities are mainly in swordskills over force abilities. The force abilities he did master are blunt but powerful.. not overly refined or fast. He did pretty well against gg all things considered, having been fighting for days outnumbered before that duel. But he is past his physical prime and a little offbalanced and arthritic by his large head.

Nah, Koon is the weak link here. It's between Gallia and Mundi, not sure who I'm most impressed with right now.
