Yeah Anakin is a retard with Yoda level potential who gets fired up and sloppy. The best he can hope for in his "flash of brilliance" is to be utterly destroyed by a toying Dooku. Jinn and Kenobi split him in half

Sources on AotC Anakin's performance against Dooku are so inconsistent I can never make up my mind on whether Dooku easily won or Anakin gave him an actual challenge, so I try not to touch their duel with a settled answer. Sources however, are reasonably consistent that Anakin was fuelled by an extraordinary hatred for Dooku because he recently got about 200 Jedi killed. Not to mention, Anakin nearly witnesses Kenobi die at Dooku's hand, which infuriated Anakin even further, to the extent that he shrugged off the pain of being recently electrocuted by Dooku's Sith Lightning.

Anakin can dismiss them in short order should he tap into his raw power and obtain a flash of brilliance. Base Anakin dies badly though.
