Vader's shadow can blanket a planet and leave nothing but death and destruction behind. He can also congeal the blood of an opponent by breathing. Nihilus can kill worlds with a whisper. Both benefit from Banite scaling.

Vader still has his knowledge of the counter for the Dark Reaper, which Nihilus' drain isn't too dissimilar from. He should be able to counter it, and he's a fair bit stronger in the Force and infinitely more skilled in sabers.
