The Power of Lord Nyax/Irek Ismaren - Yes, he'd beat Palpatine

The Power of Lord Nyax

First off, even before he became Lord Nyax, Irek was a powerful Force user. Leia muses that 16-year-old Irek might actually be the Emperor's son after sensing his Force power [link]. Irek's skills with mechu-deru increase on a daily basis and is even able to completely control the Eye of Palpatine, a 19km long dreadnought [link]. It must be noted, however, that he had a computer chip implanted which allowed him the power of mechu-deru in the first place.
Irek also defeated and killed the powerful Dark Jedi Cronal in a lightsaber duel [link], even though his skills with a blade were described as "poor" [link].

After his transformation into Lord Nyax, he began to telepathically dominate the survivors of the Second Battle of Coruscant to find the Force nexus at the Sacred Spire, which causes a disturbance in the Force [link]. Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade Skywalker and Tahiri Veila investigate the happenings on Coruscant and meet Yassat, who doubts they could defeat Lord Nyax [link]. Even Luke doubts he could defeat Lord Nyax in combat [link]. Nyax also nearly forced Luke to kill himself, Mara saved him, however [link].

Luke, Mara and Tahiri finally find and confront Nyax. Denua Ku views Nyax as the greater threat and also notes that he had never seen someone move at such a speed [link]. The Jedi team, however, had help from Yuuzhan Vong warriors. He kills 8 of them and their Voxyn (deadly Jedi hunters) in seconds [link]. In the end, the team failed to defeat Lord Nyax [link].
Nyax then leads them through the ruins of Coruscant and stomps several Vong warriors in seconds and also demonstrates greater Force augmentation than the Jedi [link].
Once he arrived at the Sacred Spire, he awaits the Jedi, mind-rapes them and freezes them instantly with a telepathic attack [link].
While bathing in the Force nexus of the Sacred Spire, he is stated to have more power than "any being alive has ever felt" and "could crack this world in two, could force the meaningless worker-things to convey him to another, and crack that one, too". The novel also outright states that Nyax is in fact more powerful than Luke, Mara and Tahiri who used the same nexus [link].

Even while constantly losing strength, he is still able to heavily damage Mataloks, 1200m long Yuuzhan Vong warships by throwing rocks at them [link]. His pain affected and was felt by Luke, Mara, Danni, Tahiri and even Kell (a non Force user) [link]. He also imbued the pit with the dark side of the Force, making it a nexus [link]. The Jedi Academy Training Manual confirmed that Nyax survived [link].

I concur. Vader would be a nice appetizer for Lord Nyax.
The Mortal Emperor and his children would be an interesting main course.

Honestly holding Vader and Nyax in the same sentence should be a legitimate crime tbh.

Constantly lowballing Vader whilst simultaneously stating him to be amongst one's favorite characters isn't?

Which is why I'm doing a CAV representing Vader which will be posted soon (Don't even think Vader wins but want to rep him for fun). Cause yah know, I don't like him and hold him super low. I actually have Vader pretty high, he's solid just not super powerful and that was the idea of his character anyway, that he goes from "The Chosen One" to "Kind of a flunky".
