So Anakin in a typical combat mood encounters Dooku. There is no Palpatine and no dun moch.

Anakin seemed to be winning fairly decisively in the earlier stages of the duel on the Invisible Hand.  With dun moch restricted, I don't see how Dooku could have turned that situation around.

There's 3 sources stating that Anakin is more powerful than Dooku, so I'm leaning towards Anakin.

Anakin was already fighting a superior before he used the Dark Side, once he used it he stomped Dooku no difficulty. And Anakin scales to Obi Wan as a swordsman who was already a superior swordsman to Dooku which was stated in the RotS novel. Anakin wins mid difficulty.

I was wrong. It isn't 3 sources, it's more than 3 sources.

The movie itself is the primary one:

And you can't argue that "but but that's just Sidious's in universe opinion!!!!" because Sidious isn't a retard who hasn't met Dooku and Anakin. Here are

Dooku is gonna win, but it would be a harder battle than S4 and Dooku would be exhausted

I can see either taking it. Dooku has a slightly better chance of taking Anakin out early via outmaneuvering him and using his reverse ankle sweeps to offset Anakin's momentum, while Anakin's chances increase as the fight progresses, as Dooku gets tired and Anakin gets more and more into it.

The adult novel paints Anakin as the clear superior while other sources have Anakin and Dooku as relative equals. If you take the aggregate intent of all sources it'd be close, and if any character would possess an edge, it'd be Anakin

Dooku sweeps the leg/kicks him in the head/folds him in half/kicks him into a wall for ten seconds then fries him with lightning or stabs him.
