This 'heel injury' is described as a singe; "It snapped back on swiftly enough to singe Kit's left heel as the Nautolan jumped free."
Singe; burn (something) superficially or lightly.
This is a superficial burn, likely not even severe enough to hinder a non-force sensitive, let alone a Jedi like Fisto.LOTL wrote:.You know, despite Kit>Kenobi>>Ventress
Asajj is undoubtedly above Fisto, who is proven to be >(>) Kenobi earlier in the novel.
Funny how Kenobi beats her later on then. Almost like none of what you said matters
Boy, a stitch has proved to cause vast problems for GM Luke. A burn is something else.

That's a funny way of writing 'Asajj stomps.'
Kenobi has one lucky moment where he has the superior leverage and is able to pin her blades down. Ventress kicks him to the ground and is on him before he has a chance to get up, forcing Kenobi desperately back.
There was no time for conscious thought, no time for anything but response as Obi-Wan ducked and spun back. Ventress drew his attention to the left and leapt into the air in a spinning kick that slammed Obi-Wan down into the dock. Once down, he never had a chance to get up again, found himself fighting from his back, wiggling and edging backwards, movement so limited that he knew the confrontation might be over within seconds. The first touch of desperation wormed its way through his emotional shields.
Kit sensed that Kenobi was getting trounced and was forced to intervene;
But some deep instinct had warned him that his compatriot Obi-Wan was in trouble, fighting to protect both their lives. He woke up enough to reach for his lightsaber.
If you're referring to the underwater fight, that was determined by who adapted to their conditions first, not solely martial prowess;
The two circled each other like some kind of aquatic predators, but both were out of their elements. The question was which would adapt most swiftly.
LOTL wrote:Boy, a stitch has proved to cause vast problems for GM Luke. A burn is something else.
Sucks for GM Luke. The injury isn't stated to hold Kit back at all, it's not even mentioned again in the novel. The only counter you have to Asajj >> Kit is Kenobi's supremacy over her - which is proven to be false - and a showing that we take as an exception to the rule given that weaker characters have been through worse with no 'vast problems.'

I think it's also worth noting Ventress has a massive form edge over Fisto.

Dooku's Telekenetic domination of Kenobi isn't a "cheap shot". Furthermore Kenobi never moves fast enough to make Dooku shit himself, at least not in the highest canon source (The film).
He may/may not have. Movie choreography is definitely not the best way to judge and decide on the intricate details lmfao. That's what the novels are for

Even if we go by the novels it still favours Dooku.

Bump. Setting aside the ambiguity of spirit Kun's power, I think a case could be made for Kun just by using his TotJ feats.

His scaling in TOTJ is also frankly ludicrous, Ood scaling is some of the most ridiculous in the mythos if you really think about what it implies there.

Kun is sporting a wider array of combat effective power, but I'm not sure if that is enough to supersede Dooku's rather noticable skill advantage.

Well Ventress' deadliest dueling tactic comes from Exar Kun's techniques, if that means much.

If Kun is > Dooku in force power, Kun could bridge and surpass any skill gap with superior augmentation.Deronn_Solo wrote:Kun is sporting a wider array of combat effective power, but I'm not sure if that is enough to supersede Dooku's rather noticable skill advantage.

Kun should take this, while Dooku’s more skilled, Kun has a rather sizable force advantage, like how while vastly pre prime, his TK feats were comparable with Dooku’s ones on Korriban.

If that's the best counter-logic you can muster then you're genuinely awful. Kun was replicating his telekinesis before he ever even fought Ulic. Prime Kun's power has multiplied by that point. Dooku has nothing, at all.
Kun has his feats beaten in every single manner.

AOTC Yoda>>Novel Revan>KOTOR Revan>>SF Malak>>Kun.
Dooku is too close to this iteration of Yoda to ever lose to Kun.
