1.The encyclopedia quote is very far from the only point of contention.

2.That's assuming that this entirely head-canon scaling is infallible. What you don't seem to grasp is that whilst the Star Forge is indeed many times greater an amp than the Star Map was. Not only is the Star Map not the only major amplication of power the Exiles were dabbling in. But more importantly....

The entire basis of the scaling is based in the assumption that Ajunta Pall and Darth Malak at their base levels of power are either the same or that Malak's is greater. But it's entirely possible that base Pall is > base Malak and the amps they were getting from their respective sources of power might not even make up for that, regardless of the difference in magnitude.

Noting that things like Pall's own sword was the one object that was truly the most dangerous to him.

1.Ulic's a redeemed Jedi Master who literally became one with the Force through his sheer understanding of what it meant to be one.

2.Frankly, the largest one regards the Star Forge itself and why it begetting far more power doesn't mean Malak himself is. Also, shedding limitations.

So no, it doesn't go against lore bar your interpretation of the quote.

The quote clearly excludes present day/modern Sith Lords. Given it literally says Vitiate is the best thing since the Son in like 5 quotes earlier on. And because it literally says "history's".

Yeh an Kun died 40 years before that, how the hell is that not part of history by then

Because Kun is an essence literally still around on Yavin IV, per the SWTOR Timelines, codex entries and the game; he's still considered a present day threat. He and Vitiate are the same. Vitiate is excluded because he's around, actively, when it's written. Exar Kun is too.

Ok so the quote would not include post ritual/spirit Kun who is magnitudes stronger than Living Kun. which I'm not surprised about 
there's just a number of big problems with that quote, for on the source is IU so its written by historians who could be incorrect, like the ones that say Kun > Palpatine in the Fact File, this quote certainly doesn't override the OOU Chee endorsed Malak quote unfortunately, It doesn't make sense that Exiles > Malak anyway because mastering the Star Forge to 300% efficiency would make Malak MUCH more powerful than the Exiles who used the Star Map an couldnt for the life of them figure out the SF, we will have to see how this changes in SE but as it stands Malak's SF scaling is valid and certainly more valid than the SWTORE quote by the very nature of what the Star Forge is.

First of all, the source is quite blatantly IU Omniscient. It doesn't make any sense if you look at it in any other way. Pretty much the whole SWTOR brigade will tell you the same thing.

The ritual literally still has Kun in his body even after it is over. It isn't destroyed until the wall of light literally destroys it. What happens to Kun isn't even death, he uses the ritual to become so powerful that he can transfer his essence to anywhere without any anchor and take on other bodies. He's essentially, fundamentally, the same as Palpatine and Tenebrae in this manner.

This is where it gets important. If Tenebrae, who is fundamentally the same as Kun in terms of how he exists as a being, is not included in the statement because of his present day existence. Then exactly the same thing applies to Exar Kun.
