Dooku's been unhappy with Ventress and decided to dice her arm and leg off. After which she drowned her sorrows in alcohol. Despite this, Ventress still finger flicks Visas with a fraction of her power. Seriously though, tf is this mismatch?

Is Visas Marr that bad? She lost to Meetra Surik which isn't a mark against her.
Asajj Ventress's battles have been indecisive to large extent. She is not on the level of a Sith Lord. Count Dooku was much disappointed in her.

Does Marr have anything to her name, though? The companions in KotOR and KotOR II are all virtually featless. Nothing Marr has done in a cutscene even borders on Ventress' first feat, heavily pressuring post AotC Anakin. And Ventress has only grown from there.S_W_LeGenD wrote:Is Visas Marr that bad? How is Darth Marr relevant to this topic?
Darth Marr have vastly superior battle-applicable showings, hype, and scaling to his name. Connecting the dots if you will.
Pressing post-AOTC Anakin Skywalker is not a significant development. Anakin had much raw power in him but his ACTUALIZED POWERS were not up the mark. This explain inconsistency in his showings. In one moment, he would do something which would make Yoda acknowledge his strength, and in another moment, he would utterly disappoint. He needed a better instructor than Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Asajj Ventress was not deemed worthy of earning the mantle of Sith Lord by those who were qualified to evaluate her in this capacity. You can be talented and smart assassin, a Sith, but not necessarily a Sith Lord.
