Saba’s Welk feats are great, but Malgus competing with the Outlander is still pretty good.

Malgus wins. Holding his own against the Outlander and Force pushing him, despite being a fair bit weaker, honestly impresses me more.

The duel between Malgus and the Outlander is largely unquantifiable. The cut-scenes give no indication that the duel was close, and the gameplay as well. You must also take into consideration that, in the Dark Side character's path, Tau Idair does the same thing Malgus done. So unless you want to say Tau Idair is super impressive/a Malgus level combatant for no real reason, we don't have much reason for assuming Malgus's version of the feat is impressive.

Except that Tau completely concedes inferiority to Malgus, says the legends about his skills were true, much like the Outlander's, stating as much that even with the aid of the Outlander, she and her padawan were lucky to have survived that fight.

Tau "conceding inferiority" is contradicted by her feats.

It's almost like if you watch the story she has confidence issues.
