Overall agreed, but some of the Jazz aspects were just plain wrong. The feel of the college is not how a real college Jazz setting is in jazz school, and some of the references made about real life Jazz (Buddy Rich references are coming to mind) are plain out misinterpretation and wrong, and would make anyone who knows a bit about Jazz music cringe. Also the music scenes just come off as jarring to anyone who has actually been in a Jazz band setting before. 

These details are minor, but goes to show they didn't but as much effort as they could've.
