Summary

Dooku spars with Grievous in a training session, as in OCW and mentioned in Labyrinth of Evil. Grievous has never beaten Dooku, and has historically not impressed him, suffering the loss of all his limbs as punishment at least once before. Dooku seems to treat Grievous as only a potential Jedi killer instead of an already established one. Grievous states the contrary, but also says he has never fled a battle (an account we know to be false). In the event of Grievous winning, the commentary is flooded with lines to the effect of “unstoppable” and “more than a match for any Jedi”, recalling the earlier versions of the character. Dooku notes that the reason he picked Grievous as general is for his combat skill, but does not yet believe him (or Asajj) to be a greater student in lightsaber skill than Qui-Gon Jinn. Dooku’s potential advantage is attributed to his artistry and experience. Grievous’s potential advantage is attributed to his strength, endurance, and hybrid fighting style.

Summary

Dooku acknowledges Fisto as a fellow student of Yoda’s, but suggests multiple times that this does not mean what it used to. Dooku seems to respect Fisto’s placement on the Jedi Council.
