Can a movie still be good even if it is poorly written?

If a movie is poorly written (e.g. full of plotholes, plot contrivances and internal inconsistencies), but all the other aspects are filmmaking are crafted well (direction, editing, acting, concepts, action, visuals, music, tone etc.), can it still be considered a good movie?

No. It'd be a polished turd.

Depends on your definition of "good."

While what I am about to say is a copout, I will say it anyway: Yes.
Film is absolutely, positively, 100% subjective, like every art form. What is considered an appalling work to one might be considered peak cinema to another.

Yeah, all of those aspects are subjective. But nah, I wouldn't consider a movie like that good. It can have mediocre writing and still be good based on those other aspects, though.
