What are some concerning problems that you see arising more and more with people in Society nowadays?

This is less focused on politics and economics and more on the behavior and attitude of people within society.

Lack of empathy.
National arrogance.
Mutual mistrust.
Nationalism/excessive patriotism.
Karens.

toxic behavior and a lack of self awareness of their actions

SJW culture.

People spreading bullshit and retardation on twitter.

Scumbags using some kind of tragedy (e.g. difficult childhood, bad relationships, high school trauma etc.) to normalise and justify morally reprehensible actions.

Black Lives Matter movement

Don't know if this is a modern problem in particular, but people seem to be more and more mindless the older I become. Fewer and fewer people are self-sufficient and seem to lack sense in areas I would consider to be common.

Collectivist thinking is being promoted through the internet. Individualist thinking as it stems from the enlightenment period is nearly dead. Nobody can think for themselves anymore and emotions trump reason.

Corporations seem to be increasing in power and small businesses are dying out. More small-businesses have been closing than opening since the 2008 recession. I fear for the future of the free-market as crony technocapitalism emerges.

The growing acceptance and embracement of having a "victim mentality" is disgusting.

The growing threat of a China-led global "social credit score" via big tech is a threat to individualism and a death-blow to me when it occurs.

Lastly I'd say overpopulation in general is a contributing factor to nearly all these issues in some way or another. Competition has never been fiercer and young people today (at least in the Western world) are likely to be less well-off than their parents when they're of age.

Nationalism is not a new thing. Karens are a dying breed IMO and what you see today only exists because of media.

In the US:

Too much bias in social media, the press, and education.

Too much demoralization and degeneracy being accepted as norms.

Too many people that hold feelings over facts.

Too many people that don't do their own research and hop on bandwagons.  

The black lives matter movement being accepted as being good.

funnily enough, people are also quite gullible

I agree with nearly most of the things listed here. I will also add on more to cancel culture where people are literally getting fired just for having an unpopular opinion that SJWs don't like and I think that this is a direct attack against freedom of speech. Either you agree with the crowd and their non-sense or potentially suffer big consequences.

It is really worrying if this trend continues.
