1.All Avellone confirmed was that Traya's statements are accurate. One of these states that she worries his power may be approaching some of the ancient Sith. She also states the magnitude of power he wields means he must comprehend the universe in a way they never have.

2.The source you refer to with Karness Muur only states the talisman has grown more dangerous. Given the rise in activity and the primary power of the talisman itself is its ability to spread the Rakghoul plague. The source absolutely isn't stating he's getting more powerful.
