Sidious vs Yoda & Windu

Team.

Even if Palpatine remove one from the scene early on, the other would give fight until the partner gets back to his feet.

Palpatine can win with Force spam, although he may burn himself out.

Palpatine stomps them

Duo stomps. Not a close fight whatsoever.

Team wins, although Mace's Vaapad is pretty scenario oriented. So Mace might not get as great of amp here as he did in the office duel. At the end of the Yoda vs Sidious duel both fighters were exhausted, so Sidious had great difficulty with Yoda. Yoda + Mace is enough.

If both of Sidious' opponents can challenge him in a 1 vs 1 duel there is no question they would overcome him here.

This would be a later incarnation of Palpatine who could produce Force Maelstrom.

Palpatine as of Episode III, not so much.

I can see an argument for Sidious winning.

To elaborate on my above verdict on who would win: either Mace or Yoda can stalemate Sidious by themselves for a considerable amount of time. I can’t see him summoning the amount of energy necessary to overwhelm them without A) burning himself up and destroying himself, or B) them being able to get close enough to take him down.

Neither Yoda nor Mace will be able to properly react to his lightning. Sheev can keep spamming it to briefly remove one from the fight to focus on the other if it's looking like he's about to be overwhelmed. He can also disarm and disable their lightsabers if he feels like it - on that point, I'm actually becoming increasingly confident about Sheev taking this as the team wouldn't really have a way to kill him. The only concern is him burning himself out, which may very well happen.

Az has done a couple of breakdowns on this in the past. It's the lightning that's the problem.

Sids can win. Not necessarily by being a great deal more powerful, but by having more potent tools with which to express that power.

Here's another, more detailed one. Not that I agree with everything I've said in the past, but the gist remains the same: Palpatine's unparalleled mastery to exploit openings and presumably disproportionate affinity towards Force lightning make this more complicated than simple magnitude-based arithmetic.
