1: Shadows of the Empire
2: YDR
3: Plaguies
4: RoDV
5: Tales of the Bounty Hunters

I can really only make a top 5 because those are the books I really liked, I would throw all the movie novelizations in if I could like AoTC, TPM, and the OT ones which are all pretty good. I also like the little summarized life story books for Vader, Maul, Kenobi, and Luke.

He is obviously referring to the movie/novelization. I haven't met a single person who likes it

Thank you for the welcome.

I've lurked on the Killermovie Star Wars forums for about 7 years now. Never registered. I lurk on Comicvine for comic and Star Wars related stuff. I'm quite familiar with most of the posters here. I've been on the SWTOR forums since the game launched. Been a Star Wars fans for about 36 years. My earliest memory I can recall is my mother taking me to see Return of the Jedi in theaters. I was 2 years old. I could be the oldest person on this forum; almost 40.

I've read about 85% or so of the EU. I stopped after the Legacy of the Force series. Didn't have time to read what came after with work and life, etc.

That's basically where I'm coming from.

I've never heard that it had a negative reputation. I remember driving to the book store before work to pick it up way back in 2006.

It's a unique book in that it takes place entirely in the Unknown Regions. It's got Darth Sidious, Anakin and Obi Wan in it. You get a lot of Chiss culture and Thrawn serving in the Chiss military before he's exiled.

It's got a different feel to it than the average Star Wars book. It really captures that feeling of the unknown, in my opinion. Of course I am biased since it features my favorite SW character - Thrawn and I believe Zahn is the best Star Wars writer hands down (where non force users are concerned).

@Thrawn It's nice to have a long-time Star Wars veteran among us. With your knowledge, you could probably contribute a lot to the discussions. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on things.
