The Dread Masters run the Banite Gauntlet
June 5th 2019, 4:58 pm
The Lords of Terror embark on a quest to spread fear across all of time and space. Their first conquest: the Banite line. How far do they go? All fights take place on flat, neutral terrain. Reasoning would be appreciated.
1. Darth Bane
2. Darth Zannah
3. Darth Cognus
4. Darth Ramage
5. Tenebrous' Master
6. Darth Tenebrous
7. Darth Plagueis
8. Darth Sidious (ROTS)

Not even close either. He jumps to them and drains them with his death field.

Might stop at 4. Definitely stops at 5.

Dread masters would die for the chance of opening up a breach in the Force :Malak:

Stops at 4, maybe 5.

LMFAO @ them stopping before 6. They stomp everything pre-6 and only at 7 do they have a good chance at dying.

Definitely fall at 6. Could potentially fall earlier, idk. DMs are overrated. They're still fodder to Jedi Revan.

Them being insignificant next to Revan or Tenebrae doesn't correlate to an advantage for any Banite Sith besides Sheev.
Actually, pre-mask novel Revan is already displaying far greater power and will than Darth Gravid. What more for the Dread Masters who easily dominated Dread War Hero of Tython across space whilst simultaneously pulling off a bunch of equally impressive things?
Hell, Styrak by himself dominated and corrupted the minds of entire armies of mercenaries, and was capable of resurrecting them.
Their galactic scale Force feats are easily better than anything any Banite has pre-Tenebrous.

No, but we can extrapolate here. Part of what makes Banite scaling so annoying (or fun, depending on your perspective) is how pervasive and astronomical it gets. Dread Masters are, at best, roughly comparable to Tenebrous' master.

That's entirely unquantifiable.

Perhaps, but either way, they fall to Tenebrous.

Tenebrous has better scaling.

Which as I said, is unquantifiable. Not to mention, hardly foolproof.

DM scaling is far worse than Banite scaling, lol. Their feats are good but hardly godlike, and they don't even scale above the Dread War protag.

Yes they do, they literally dominate the Hero of Tython(and his Jedi friend) from across space whilst simultaneously disrupting the power of two separate fleets, resurrecting Kephess, shutting off the power of the Supreme Chancellor's office and again, all from across space.
They were so powerful that they even knew that Darth Jadus had the powers to percieve the cosmic Force the way they could. Whilst they were vastly weakened.

Could I see the sources for all those? I've seen them before I think, but I just want to refresh myself before I counter.

No, lol. Is this the light/dark type argument or something else? Or something that I don't have knowledge of here?

It's a perfectly viable argument. But that is only half the equation. Not to mention Revan in his prime is undebatably Yoda tier if not higher.

Not really. It doesn't remotely mean what you make it out to be.
Prime Revan is Plagueis level at best.

Yeah, reviewing the argument again, it doesn't support your claims at all. Even Ant isn't asserting what you are on that thread.
