Luminara all rounds. She fought evenly with early TCW Ventress while hindered and stalemated her in the Force. Aayla's feats don't compare. For example, in SoD she was being tagged by SoD Maul while having the help of TCW Mace (Maul's firm superior) to help her out. It's not unreasonable to suggest that she was more of a hindrance than an asset in that fight.

Mace brought Aayla along to fight Maul despite the fact that she wouldn't help his cause apparently. And Aayla despite being a hindrance decided to keep on fighting with Mace rather than helping elsewhere.

Mace brought Aayla along to fight Maul despite the fact that she wouldn't help his cause apparently. 

He didn't bring her. She followed him over to Maul.

They're Jedi. They don't abandon their peers. There are countless examples of this. Plus, two Jedi masters were already on Dooku, so logically it would have made sense to her to have two Jedi on Maul.

Obi Wan brought Tiplee along to fight Dooku and she was oneshoted. I don't think the jedi are allways logical
