Considering that it's post Shryne:

R1: Mace, decent to good fight. Vader matched and even had the upper hand a couple of times against Shryne, a "master swordsman", so even at this stage his swordsmanship is good enough to tangle with the likes of Mace at least temporarily, albeit he'll lose every time. 
R2: Tempted to say Vader now. I'll say it's a split. 
R3: Mace. Comparably powerful (might be more powerful but the feats at this point seem to back Vader, although Mace has some really good ones) and a better swordsman, who's also a fair bit faster and a lot more agile.
