Based on his basic observations during his fight with Vader, and the fact that he was overwhelmed by Vader launching planks of wood (keep in mind TPM Kenobi performed better against TPM Maul than Shryne did against Vader when it came to a projectile battle) I think that the likelihood of him being on his all-time A-game is virtually non-existent, Lobenzo.

@Maks Leem But ESB Luke was overwhelmed in the same way by Vader, and Luke could "challenge" Vader.

Shryne was rusty, and his enemy here is Vader, and not maul. A much tougher and more experienced opponent who could move kriff with out hand movements, who was much stronger too, and who knew how to fight Jedi better than maul ever did

Right, but Luke was comparatively undisciplined at this point, and was only capable of ‘challenging’ Vader because he could mirror his fighting technique and experience flashes of brilliance akin to those of which Anakin Skywalker would experience. It isn’t until ROTJ, when he has finally understood the lessons given to him by Yoda and Kenobi, that he is labelled a proper Jedi. Regardless, saying “well Luke couldn’t do it” doesn’t do anything to help Shryne’s case.
