General Grievous versus Cal Kestis
on Tue Nov 26, 2019 2:21 pm
- Grievous as of Son of Dathomir
- Cal Kestis prior to end of the game
R1: Sabers
R2: H2H + Force
R3: All out
How would each round conclude with what difficulty?

R1: Grievous, decent fight.
R2: Cal.
R3: Could go either way but leaning Grievous.

Cal has been rising quite a lot due to his Fallen Order feats@King Joker wrote:what's going on lol

^ I have him around the same level as prime Kanan right now, though that could change given time and more feats from him - you know, since Kanan's ash and won't be getting any new ones.

This is Canon Grievous though, as of SoD.

Did we play the same game? Cal's best feats are defeating relatively nondescript Inquisitors, whereas Grievous was regularly going toe-to-toe with some of the best Jedi (and Sith) of the era.
Cal is impressive given his circumstances (incomplete training, little experience, his youth), but he's still a pleb next to the people Grievous challenged (Kenobi, Ventress, Maul, to name a few). There's no comparison.

Oh I wouldn't know I haven't finished the game yet.@King Joker wrote:bro he's still nowhere near grievous lol@SithSauce wrote:Cal has been rising quite a lot due to his Fallen Order feats@King Joker wrote:what's going on lol
But that seems very likely.

Changed my mind, actually. Grievous all rounds. Cal's powers aren't strong enough to put down GG.

I don't see Cal getting ganked by Gungans. Grievous dies.

Grievous
Cal
Split
Without PIS, there's no reason why Cal doesn't outright ragdoll him. Which logically, any Jedi should've done.

i think greivous is being underestimated here, but since cal is canon, i assume we are also using canon GG? still GG tbh. he has some nice ass feats in TCW, and he did fight obi wan well enough in the ROTS movie, so him. cal is no obi wan, kit fisto, or eeth koth.

Do we really want to have this argument again IG. Grievous is trained specifically deal with Jedi Powers. That is the canonical reason why he can fight force users. He has never been rag-dolled to the point of fodderization in canon, and when he is ragdolled away, it simply does not damage him in a noticeable fashion

Obi-Wan slammed him into a roof then slammed him down a 50 metre hallway, and it did absolutely nothing to GG except piss him off. I'm sure no one believes Cal > TCW Obi-Wan.
